What is joint tenancy with right of survivorship?
Joint tenancy with the right of survivorship is a means of having title to your property, in the state of Florida. When one of the title holders dies, and the title was held as joint tenants with the right of survivorship, the other tenant automatically inherits whatever interest the joint tenant had. It’s a means of passing title seamlessly, by operation of law, to the other joint tenant.
