Alexandra Kane

Associate Attorney

Alexandra Kane is an attorney at Goodwin Law, where she advises individuals and families on estate planning and supports clients through the administration of a loved one’s estate. She also works closely with the firm’s real estate team on complex residential transactions, helping buyers and sellers navigate key aspects of the closing process. Her practice focuses on helping clients make informed, thoughtful decisions about their assets, families, and future.

Alexandra brings a transactional focus to her work, having discovered early in her career that she preferred guiding clients through planning and deal-making rather than litigation. She frequently works with married couples seeking trust-based estate plans, particularly those with moderate- to high-value estates. Over time, she has built a practice grounded in long-term relationships, often working with clients on multiple matters—from estate planning to administration to real estate—after earning their trust through a positive initial experience.

Her approach is highly personalized and grounded in clear, honest communication. Alexandra takes the time to understand each client’s unique family dynamics and priorities, recognizing that no two plans should look the same. She emphasizes education throughout the process, ensuring clients understand not only their options but also the implications of their decisions. Known for her direct, practical guidance, she is comfortable advising that a different attorney or firm may be a better fit, prioritizing the client’s best outcome over convenience. This straightforward, no-nonsense approach aligns closely with Goodwin Law’s commitment to clarity, accessibility, and meaningful client interaction.

Alexandra earned her Juris Doctor from Ave Maria School of Law after completing her undergraduate studies at Towson University, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Political Science with a minor in Business Administration. She is admitted to practice in Florida and is a Florida Notary Public. She is actively involved in the local legal and professional community, including the Collier County Bar Association—where she participates in the Young Lawyers Division, Trusts & Estates Section, and Real Estate Section—and the Collier County Women’s Bar Association. She currently serves in a leadership role within the Young Lawyers Division and has been a member of BNI since 2023, serving as President. Alexandra is also an alumni member of the Associate Leadership Collier Class of 2026.

Originally from Bel Air, Maryland, Alexandra now calls Southwest Florida home. Outside the office, she enjoys time with family and friends, traveling, reading, and visiting the beach. She has a special connection to Bethany Beach, Delaware, where she spent her summers growing up. Alexandra and her wife enjoy exploring new coffee shops and breweries, and Alexandra is an avid Disney fan and theme park enthusiast. She married in 2025 and is expecting her first child in the summer of 2026.
